cotton/linen mix packs

I really had a giggly old time making these. I felt like for the first time I could put mix packs together where the colours and designs really complimented each other and made a nice little product.

I'm pretty sure by the time I finish writing this post they will mostly be gone from my shop already, as I only had enough fabric left to make a few of them. Next time I'm definitely putting more fabric aside for this!

Thank goodness for living in the same time zone. I always seem to miss the golden opportunities, but today I was the early bird who caught the worm!

Thanks

I have to say, I practiced extreme constraint, mostly because I need larger pieces of fabric, but such pretty combos! I watched as the slowly left the shop, tick, tick, tick. It took 56 minutes, in case anyone is wondering.

it's a good thing i dont live in the same time zone or else i'd snatch those puppies up! and lose more money in the meantime. haha. i've taken on more babysitting work just to compensate for my shopping addictions. oh well. cant enjoy life if you dont spend a little, right?

i'll be putting up some photos of notebooks i've been making. i'm just too lazy to have to upload photos to a photoserver and then link them to the blog. too frustrating. and no patience.

as for the notebook cosy, i guess that all depends on how many ppl have expressed problems with it. if it's just me and another person, i'd say it's probably because we did an oopsy. i know i certainly didn't measure exactly. i never really like to use rulers and the sort. so it's probably my fault. i was also treating this fabric as if it had stretch in it, so that's a major oopsy right there. haha.

but nice packs! i really love the packaging. it's too tempting not to want to buy 'em.
